Q. We have a list
of songs we like; is that okay with you?
A. Yes, your requests are
the most important thing. My list of dance songs may
help organize your music selection.
Q. Can we bring our own
music?
A. Yes, if I don't have your
request, please bring it with you.
Q. Will you take requests
from our guests?
A. Yes, this adds to
the spontaneity of the occasion.
Q. Do you drink alcohol
at our occasion?
A. No.
Q. What time do you normally
set up your equipment?
A. I like to arrive one hour
early to make sure everything works well. There will be
an atmosphere of music when your guests enter the ballroom.
Q. What technical requirements
do you have?
A. A skirted eight foot banquet
table, set up close to a standard electrical outlet and near
the dance floor is ideal.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. Yes, in order to hire me
for an occasion, I ask my clients to sign and return an agreement
with a deposit. The deposit amount is deducted from the balance.
Q. How and when would you
like to be paid?
A. I prefer to be paid by
personal check 14 days before your occasion date. Cash
or bank check on the day of the occasion.
Q. What if some of our guests
are concerned about the music volume?
A. Your guests will enjoy
background music during the cocktail and dinner hours. The music
level allows everyone to enjoy their conversations.
